From the Mt. Pleasant Tourism Commission:
The Mount Pleasant Tourism Commission is boosting its efforts to highlight places that make the community unique and invites local residents to help by sharing their local favorites.
The Village’s Tourism Commission launched a quick and easy survey where people can share their favorite restaurants, hidden gems, outdoor spots, and must-see attractions in Mount Pleasant. Responses to the survey will shape how the Mount Pleasant Tourism Commission showcases this community to visitors through a new tourism website, promotional videos, and more.
The 10-question survey is available online and only takes a few minutes to complete.
“We’re expecting some strong opinions about the best fish fry or hidden gems, but that just reflects how much our residents enjoy what this community offers,” said Mount Pleasant Tourism Manager Matt Prochaska. “We want to share those local landmarks with the Midwest, the country, and the world, and bring in more people to support the businesses, hotels, and other amenities that we can enjoy every day.”
The Mount Pleasant Tourism Commission attracts visitors through marketing, events and other communications financed by a tax paid by people who rent hotel rooms in the Village.
